Close to everything I needed to be at. If you’re visiting the prison it is just down the road, a 5 minute drive max. It is also opposite a Meijer which was super handy and it took me 5 mins to walk to (most of that time was spent trying to cross the busy road). Manistee has a taxi service which is literally one guy, he is fantastic and took me most places during my stay. There is also a dial a ride which is fantastic too (and cheap). The staff were pleasant and the coffee was delicious in the lobby. Breakfast was cereals so I didn’t use that as I like a hot breakfast but overall it was great. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The gentleman taking care of the breakfast area was super. Well stocked and clean as can be. That little guy almost wore me out just watching him. He flew around the place doing a great job!! You name it, tables, counters, equipment, windows all were spic and span! Yeah, the breakfast selection is limited, but adequate for a budget stay. Really, everything was fine.

There were several people checking in at the same time, which can become a little overwhelming to some, but he handled each customer as if they were the only one staying there. His recommendation of el torro Mexican restaurant was perfect.

The property was clean. We called in advance and were able to check on a little early. Facility and room were clean. Conveniently located with fuel and convenience stores nearby (Meijer).
